Temecula, CA – Deciding to delve a little deeper inside the topic of the well written opinion piece by Summer Rain about Miley Cyrus, I found not only where she got her inspiration for the controversial performance from and saw more relevance to the Jon Lajoie rap song spoof, but found Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines inspired a number of parodies.

Presented now as part of a still trending story is the funniest parody I saw so far, Tanned Lines, and after the jump at your voluntary discretion, is Jimmy Kimmel’s effort, the original song video, and finally at the end, the unrated version. It is the last version that inspired Miley Cyrus, no doubt. Then listen to Lajoie’s lyrics again.

Temecula, CA – At a time when most retired judges would be bass fishing, relaxing at the cabin in the woods, or just recluse themselves from the public eye, my closest in age first cousin, Wiley Young Daniel, is bound for Motown to help the town of Detroit, the home base of Ted Nugent, the Motorcity Madman. I mention this in passing because the outspoken graying musician’s tour this year is called the ‘Black Power Tour 2013’ and MSNBC carried Nugent’s anti-Trayvon Martin rants for weeks it seemed.

Chief Judge Gerald Rosen recently announced the members of the primary team of mediators who will work with him on the mediation of major issues in the Detroit bankruptcy, the largest such case in our nation's history.

Author PT Rothschild is proud to announce that he has engaged the high class modeling activist agency, 420Nurses, in officially promoting his current book release, MEMOIRS OF MR. PETE & MARY JANE GREEN, now available on

“Having done a number of stories about the group since I first met them in December of last year, the 420Nurses have impressed me with their professional organization that is rapidly expanding nationally and internationally. Finding the goals of advancing worldwide cannabis medical education, positive self-esteem reinforcement, beauty, and activism through the promotion of a modern lifestyle, marketing, and photography fit perfectly in line with the dissemination of hereto secret revelations concerning the fall of Capitalism because of cannabis, as detailed in Memoirs’ Chapter 20, the last book chapter, led to the decision to merge our efforts,” said the author.

Today in union with the 50 year anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s March On Washington in 1963, the commencement of the 420Nurses promoting Memoirs of Mr. Pete & Mary Jane Green begins.

Details for the agency to rep the book were worked out at the last NORML (National Organization to Reform Marijuana Laws) activist meeting held in Los Angeles, the area where the 420Nurses began and are headquartered, over the weekend.

Starting next Monday, 9/2, a serialized excerpt of Chapter 20 will debut for fans on 420Nurses to read in advance of a website advertizing campaign which is set to begin in October and run through Christmas.

Temecula, CA – Many of my music stories start at The Vault but it is rare that a food review begins at the locally renowned underground music, read all-ages, venue. In a magical valley, magic just happens and so this food review originates in the Ivan Promotions office, on the big guy’s desk actually.

Popping in as I usually do to drop my gear so I can properly ‘social butterfly’, my keen nose caught the whiff of something tasty. Opening the white Styrofoam takeout container revealed an appetizing pile of marinated chicken that was delicious. Finding out it was from a place named Ming’s made me reply, “Flash Gordon would eat here.”

‘Ayy, Capt’n. WE CANNA HOLD ‘ER!!’

Temecula, CA – Just when you got done thinking about the catastrophe that devastated Japan
Gregory Bull/AP photo
almost as much as we did through two nuclear bombs over 50 years ago, Fukushima is back in the headlines and this time the news is again bleak, first for the ocean and then for the people who like fish. Translated comes the following report, “The radioactive discharge is out of control” — Contamination seeping into ocean is an emergency.

In exactly an opposite scenario from the closure of San Onofre, pictured here with surfers, who may not be out of the woods yet, not to mention just about everybody else living on the west coast.

Japan’s nuclear watchdog said last Monday that radioactive water is seeping into the ocean creating an emergency Tepco is struggling to contain. The contaminated groundwater has breached an underground barrier and is rising towards the surface, says the nuclear regulator. More after the jump.

Temecula, CA – In every war campaign, you have ‘the front’, the point of contention; the battles
and outcomes; and the generals on both sides.

In the war of the serpent’s seed vs. the woman’s seed [Gen 3], these last days in Revelation have produced a battle for the people’s stomachs that feed the hearts and minds of those you hear about in patriotic prose, at least on the widely visible plane.

Food, long a siege weapon, is again being used as a weapon of extinction through the almost legislated use of ingredients detrimental collectively to the human body. Leading this uphill battle are people that I know, wise women and moms like Pamm Larry, Zen Honeycutt and Kathleen Hallal, along with 300 Iowa farmers including Howard Vlieger. Throwing bingo parties and webinar interviews, the way forward appears gloomy in a Goth way.

Temecula, CA – Well Sports Fans, my mole in Hollywood sent me this breaking piece on our most
famous citizen presently from/passed through these T-town parts, Katy Perry. Starting the new album buzz, a solid gold [painted] big rig is now crossing the USA and was last seen a couple of days ago in Vegas, but I’m sure that whatever happened this time in Vegas didn’t stay there.

After the jump, here KP’s new song before the DJs on the air.

Temecula, CA – Today we feature the second of the three global woes on many peoples’ minds, with the first being Monsanto owning an army of its own.

This story of coming gloom deals with finances. With money being as important as it is to everyone, money has to figure in to the mess somehow. Since money and magic are two different systems, for your edification, there are vids after the jump by experts revealing the financial future of America. With the stock market breaking records and the Federal Reserve now 40&% of the GDP, these experts are saying the ‘good times’ can’t go on much longer. As I have no money, the system means nothing to me, but I do have friends with money. The two vids are for my friends.

Menifee: McCall Boulevard sidewalk ready for pedestrians

Menifee, California –A new sidewalk along McCall Boulevard is ready for pedestrians, just in time for the start of the new school year. In response to community requests and because pedestrian safety is a top priority, the city completed this new sidewalk on the south side of McCall Boulevard from Sherman Road to an existing sidewalk east of Hillpointe Drive.

“The McCall sidewalk project is a great example of the city using community input to improve our infrastructure,” said Interim City Manager Rob Johnson. “We heard the community’s requests and we delivered a solution in time for the start of the school year.”

The new sidewalk replaces a dirt path and provides a designated place to walk where pedestrians are clearly separated from fast-moving traffic on McCall Road. In addition to creating a safer environment for all pedestrians, the new sidewalk offers a safe school route for students attending Hans Christensen Middle School.
